About the Role

We are seeking a world-class educator to inspire the next generation of students in mechanical engineering by joining our team of teachers on a permanent full-time basis located at Newcastle Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in mechanical engineering
  • Develop and implement curriculum materials that meet the needs of students and industry
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Appropriate subject knowledge, skills, and vocational qualifications in mechanical engineering
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications or a willingness to undertake our full-time 'Paid to Learn' course
  • Minimum of three years post-qualification experience relevant to the industry
Desirable Skills
  • Mechanical design experience
  • AutoCad and Inventor/SolidWorks experience
