Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for our managed investment scheme product portfolio.
- Apply astute accounting skills and strong analytical mindset to deliver accurate information on time.
- Streamline processes and make enhancements where possible.
- Prepare oversight models for review of daily unit prices.
- Monitor liquidity positions and prepare daily cashflow and investment trade instructions.
- Prepare and review periodic regulatory reporting, quarterly BAS return lodgements, and annual income tax returns.
- Calculate investment fees and rebates.
- Review and analyze Custodian fee invoices.
- Review fund distribution calculations and unit registry statements across various asset classes and investment strategies.
- Prepare and review interim and annual financial statements in accordance with established accounting standards.
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance. If you have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Fund Accountant.
- Demonstrated experience in unit pricing, review of distribution calculations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to manage spreadsheets and use formulas.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance or recognized CPA/CA qualification.
