  • Follow health and safety guidelines, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operate cash handling systems, taking orders and processing payments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Apply sound cash handling principles, using Point of Sale (POS) systems to manage transactions and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons, highlighting the benefits and value of our offerings.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with patrons, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options and special deals.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with the possibility of increased hours during peak periods.

Requirements

  • Positive, friendly, and helpful work style, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Coffee making and barista skills, with the ability to prepare and serve a variety of beverages.
  • Food handling certificate, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2), demonstrating a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Current CPR Certificate, ensuring the ability to respond to medical emergencies.
  • Current Food Handlers Qualification, demonstrating a high level of competence in food handling and preparation.
  • Police Check and Working with Children Check, ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable, working a variety of shifts and responding to changing circumstances.
