Project Planner and Control Specialist

Contribute to national infrastructure development by ensuring up-to-date reporting of project program status. Provide planning and project controls expertise, developing and maintaining project programs, collaborating with project managers, preparing basis of schedule documentation, identifying and mitigating program risks, and supporting tender program development.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the nation's infrastructure. As a project planner and control specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project programs to ensure timely completion and budget adherence
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Preparing detailed schedule documentation to inform stakeholders and support informed decision-making
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks to program delivery and recommending corrective actions
  • Supporting the development of tender programs to secure new business opportunities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in complex construction or infrastructure projects
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines such as engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Proficiency in planning software including Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6
  • A strong understanding of 4D planning and building information modelling (BIM)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
