About the Role

Busways is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner-Penrith. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of our fleet of vehicles and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean interior and exterior of company cars as required.
  • Clean interior of buses, including seats, floors, ceilings, windows, and dash area.
  • Clean workshop lunchroom, change rooms, and toilet area.
  • Clean office area, carpets, desks, empty office bins, and toilet area, including the driver's room.
  • Implement quality control and assurance procedures to ensure fleet presentation standards, particularly in relation to internal cleanliness, graffiti removal, and external bus presentation.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Good time management skills with the drive and determination to complete tasks.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform general laboring work of a physical and manual nature.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously.
  • Willing to take direction and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Current Australian driver's license issued by the relevant State.
