About this role

This Health and Safety position involves leading and delivering advice and service to enable positive outcomes for employees.

The successful candidate will lead a team of two direct reports, reporting to the Head of Health, Safety & Wellbeing ANZ. Responsibilities will include:

  • Enabling a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture across all business areas
  • Identifying opportunities to embed HSW capability and literacy at all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Coaching and guiding leaders in best practice health, safety, and wellbeing management
  • Mentoring and leading direct reports in their roles
  • Contributing to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Health and Safety Management System
  • Participating in Health and Safety audits and identifying opportunities for improvement

Key Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a proven track record in a similar hands-on Health and Safety Lead position with skills and attributes including:

  • Highly experienced background in providing Health and Safety advice and service
  • Clear communication skills across diverse employees
  • Influencing and driving change across diverse organisations
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of Workcover requirements
  • Previous experience in leadership roles
  • Attention to detail and strong organisation
