Join Our Team as a Site Engineer

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Site Engineer. This role will play a vital part in the successful delivery of the Cross River Rail project, one of Queensland's largest infrastructure projects.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing on-site engineering support to assist in the delivery of successful project outcomes for a large-scale underground station site. You will work closely with the Project Engineer and other team members to ensure that all construction requirements are met in accordance with agreed specifications.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in coordinating and overseeing mechanical trade packages, as well as a strong background in engineering principles and practices. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

The salary for this role is estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including generous superannuation benefits and access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor key construction requirements to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications.
  • Manage work conducted on site by subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implement prompt and safe corrective action on site if required.
  • Maintain all relevant project document control and records.
Requirements:
  • Recognised degree in Engineering.
  • Fit Out experience (highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated site experience coordinating subcontractors, preferably in a large-scale building or infrastructure project environment.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
  • Experienced in overseeing subcontractor safety, quality, and progress to achieve desired project outcomes.
