About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Indigenous Land Management Trainee to join our team at Eraring Power Station in NSW. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in land management and conservation, working with a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with bushland regeneration works, including the identification of plant species and collection and extraction of seeds.
  • Carry out land management duties, including lawn and grass maintenance, weed management, and use of handheld and specialist tools.
  • Work across 11,000 hectares of bushland and within the greenhouse and maintenance workshop.
  • Assist in general duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence, and ability of a trainee.
Requirements
  • Commitment to both on and off the job training.
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for Land Conservation.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong understanding of safety and manual handling techniques.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual tasks.
