Freight Delivery Specialist

The Logistics Coordinator Role plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient and timely deliveries to customers, while driving a strong safety-first culture. This role requires excellent coordination skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage transport allocations to ensure efficient delivery and meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate dispatch and ensure accurate consignment of freight, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including delivery performance and freight traceability.
- A solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safe working practices is essential for success in this role.
- Experience working with sub-contractors and/or third-party logistics providers is highly valued.
- A background in FMCG or high-volume logistics environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Blue Yonder is necessary for managing day-to-day operations effectively.
