Meat Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Meat Production Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our in-house butchery.

This includes receiving and dispatching proteins efficiently, managing stock rotation effectively, and maintaining waste management to meet high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure wastage is in line with target and documented correctly
  • Butchery of meat for company venues
  • Pack and deliver all meat orders for venues
  • Ensure correct maintenance processes are followed for all equipment and general kitchen working surfaces and areas
  • Ensures staff receive on the job training to the agreed standards of performance and have all necessary skills required by their role within the butchery
  • Ordering done to specifications

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in butchery
  • A confident and calm demeanour
  • High attention to detail and a genuine passion for butchery
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a production setting
  • Full NSW Driver's License
