
Compliance Investigations Lead

Role Summary:
The Department of Education seeks an experienced Principal Investigations Adviser to join the Conduct and Integrity Division.
This role will suit an adviser who can guide and support a team, leveraging their expert knowledge and experience to drive success in managing complex matters and mentoring investigators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling Public Sector Values and ensuring relevant departmental policies and procedures are followed.
- Assessing and triaging complex matters, ensuring effective management of complaints, misconduct and unsatisfactory performance.
- Providing expert support and advice to people managers on conduct and performance matters.
- Preparing high-quality written materials, including briefings and correspondence.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within an investigations environment, working within defined policies and procedures.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, working within a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
- A logical, problem-solving approach with strong communication skills.
