Teaching Opportunity

  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider Seventh-day Adventist school system.

The successful candidate will be able to promote and not undermine the Christian-based values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. They will also have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the college's Christian-based ethos and plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students.

 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
- Develop engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
 
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance student learning experiences.
 
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

 
 
Requirements:
 
- Bachelor of Education or related field qualification.
 
- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
 
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build strong relationships with students and parents.
