About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Tenures Advisor to join our team and contribute to the successful management of petroleum tenures.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, providing advice and input on matters relevant to tenure management and development strategies.

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow, with a strong desire to develop their skills and knowledge in this field.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining knowledge of onshore resource legislation, policies, and guidelines to advise the business of compliance requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure tenure approvals are delivered in a timely manner and legislative compliance is maintained for petroleum tenures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Interface with Government agencies to ensure efficient management of petroleum tenures with respect to legislative compliance, including coordination and monitoring environmental and Native Title processes.
  • Consulting with key stakeholders to develop strategies for and to ensure compliance and efficient petroleum tenure management.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tenure compliance systems to maintain tenure detail, documentation, and upcoming compliance obligations, including payment of prescribed fees.
  • Representing the organization by active participation at Industry and Government forums and meetings to contribute to legislative and policy reform.
