Role Overview

The Production Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of Gyprock workstations and maintaining high-quality production levels.

This is a full-time position based at Coopers Plains, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, managing raw materials, and adhering to approved formulation and process settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion a culture of safety within the factory, pursuing a zero-harm environment and identifying potential hazards.
  • Ensure adequate raw material levels to meet production schedules, including preparation of PBL reels.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance testing in accordance with National testing matrix requirements.
  • Manipulate production processes as required to achieve product specifications, such as formulating adjustments or dressing scoring wheels.
  • Record and enter production and quality data into online systems.
  • Forklift driving is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Requirements
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to a safe working environment.
  • Attention to detail in work activities.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster.
  • Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, multi-stage continuous manufacturing environment.
  • Possession of a valid forklift license.
  • Understanding of production operations and principles.
