Job Opportunity: Work Readiness Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Work Readiness Specialist.

About the Role:

The Work Readiness Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the Network Maintenance and Strategy delivery process. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement and ensure seamless execution of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the assurance and governance process for Network Maintenance and Strategy delivery works in accordance with established procedures.
  • Facilitate weekly Works Readiness stakeholder and governance forums to promote active stakeholder engagement and ensure awareness of key deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain professional partnerships with key stakeholders through regular engagement, focusing on meaningful and value-added service outcomes.
  • Monitor and report on non-compliance of the Works Readiness Process, taking collaborative action with action owners to mitigate risks.
  • Log, assign, monitor, and report on non-compliance of governance processes and procedures.
  • Conduct quality technical reviews of work group information to ensure scope of work clarity and definition.
  • Liaise with work group leads to capture relevant information and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Lead planning, scheduling, and Works Readiness meetings, including minutes and agendas, follow-up actions, meeting organization, and communication distribution.
  • Collaborate with work group leads and Project Managers to ensure comprehensive information capture and stakeholder education.
  • Support the Works Readiness Supervisor in planning, supervision, and delivery of works as required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Network Closure Access Planning and Scheduling Team.
