Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Environmental Sustainability Specialist. This role will play a vital part in maintaining and servicing our reverse vending machines and bulk processing equipment in Tasmania.
- Maintain and service reverse vending machines and bulk processing equipment to ensure maximum machine uptime and customer satisfaction.
- Service and repair conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile communications, and other equipment.
- Install kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites.
- Provide exceptional customer service to partners and the public.
- Analyse areas of improvement and report to the local service team.
- Perform regular cleaning of equipment.
- A Trade Certificate III in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or comparable experience with electrical/mechanical equipment.
- Previous experience with operating systems, installing software, networking, and mobile telecommunications.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills, especially with mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment and replacing circuit boards, sensors, and other components.
- An unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record.
- The ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills. If you are motivated and enjoy working independently, this position may suit you.
