Logistics Coordinator Role

A logistics coordinator role involves overcoming daily logistical challenges to ensure warehouse operations run smoothly in a fast-paced environment. You will make decisions and continually grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing orders to customer specification efficiently
  • Processing both Inbound & Outbound orders accurately
  • Performing putaways into designated locations effectively
  • Timely replenishment of stock ensuring minimal delays
  • Operating hand held technology such as RF scanners confidently
  • Using WMS to print labels & check data securely
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all incoming & outgoing orders at all times
  • Following client SOP's to meet customer expectations and minimise stock damage successfully
  • Supporting the operation in stocktakes as required
  • Ensuring that the work area is clean and tidy maintaining a safe working environment
  • Adhering to safety policies and procedures including hazard awareness at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience working in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment essential, forklift licence (high reach and/or counter balance) mandatory, proven experience picking, packing, checking and dispatching of orders required, previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners beneficial, ability to work in a team with focus on giving excellent customer service, understanding of the importance of adherence to WH&S policies and procedures necessary, knowledge of inventory management important, excellent attention to detail crucial, basic computer skills fundamental, flexible and positive attitude expected.
