Senior Credit Controller

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our credit control team, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of clients, including major multinational companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage premium payments, ensuring timely receipt of funds.
- Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and management to progress collection processes.
- Reconcile brokers' statements and payments made to offshore service centers.
- Monitor and match receipts and unallocated receipts.
- Collaborate with the team responsible for premium booking and resolving discrepancies.
- Accelerate the collection process for aged debt.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take ownership of tasks.
- Resilient and adaptable style, with a track record of remaining calm in demanding circumstances.
