Senior Credit Controller

AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team in Sydney, NSW. As a key member of our credit control team, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of clients, including local Australian businesses and major multinational clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage premium payments, ensuring timely receipt of funds
- Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and management to progress collection process
- Reconcile brokers' statements and payments made to offshore service centre
- Monitor and match receipts and unallocated receipts
- Accelerate collection process on aged debt
- Prepare monthly credit control balances analysis for APAC Credit Control Manager
- Review premium status and respond to Operations before settlement of claims and refund premiums
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as directed by APAC Credit Control Manager
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with insurance experience essential
- Experience in a Financial Services environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex information to internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with ability to identify inconsistencies and inaccuracies in data
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong desire to challenge and deliver results
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
