About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional Front Office Duty Manager to join our Guest Services team.

This role will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every opportunity is taken to build upon service offerings.

As a key member of the Front Office team, you will provide training to new staff members, lead by example and inspire your colleagues to achieve their best.

You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships between all departments of the resort, handling and resolving any guests' complaints or queries, and up-selling and promoting hotel services.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the Front Office Manager with the day-to-day duties of the Guest Services operations
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences and look for opportunities to build upon service offerings
  • Establish and maintain relationships between all departments of the resort
  • Handle and resolve any guests' complaints or queries
  • Provide training to new team members
  • Lead, inspire, and develop the team
  • Up-sell and promote hotel services
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Formal qualification in Hotel Management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Front Office environment, preferably in Hotels
  • Professional approach to customer service, with a passion for going above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay
  • Leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues
  • Engaging personality, with a natural ability to build rapport with guests
  • Ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to manage time effectively
  • Understanding of complaint resolution, with a focus on guest and business outcomes
