Hotel Night Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to take on the role of Assistant Night Manager, responsible for overseeing the overnight operation of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
  • Establish effective communication channels between the night team and other departments
  • Proactively resolve guest complaints and issues to high levels of satisfaction
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members
  • Collaborate with the Night Manager to ensure accurate auditing, income reporting, and revenue management
  • Maintain control over costs, including wages and expenses
  • Develop and implement service standards for the night team, ensuring exceptional customer experience

Requirements:

  • A Guest Obsessed attitude, being resilient in nature with no problem or task too great
  • Excellent communication skills, able to initiate conversations with guests and team members
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or environment
  • Familiarity with Fidelio or Opera PMS systems, with hotSOS as a preferred skill
  • A valid NSW RSA certificate or ability to obtain
  • A flexible schedule, including overnight shifts (10:30pm - 6:30am), weekends, and Public Holidays
  • Able to work in Australia with full working rights; sponsorship is not available for this position
