About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Fitter to join our team on a major civil project at Brockman. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the onsite team in scheduled maintenance, workshop diagnostics and breakdowns on a wide variety of civil construction equipment.

Scope of Work

The Brockman Syncline 1 (BS1) Project involves the extraction and primary crushing of ore at BS1, followed by transportation via an Overland Conveyor (OLC) to the B4 processing plant. Our scope includes bulk earthworks, drainage, roadworks, concrete works, construction of a ROM wall, two pre-cast arch tunnels and various ancillary works required to establish the new mine infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduled maintenance of heavy machinery
  • Diagnostics and repair of broken equipment
  • Workshop duties including cleaning and organization
Requirements
  • Australian Manual Drivers Licence
  • Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Tickets and licences E.G.: Forklift, Rigging, Crane, etc
  • Minimum 3 years post trade experience (MEM)
  • Experience with CAT, 740, 785 Dump Trucks, 988, 992 CAT Loaders, D8, D10 CAT Dozers, 30T, 65T, 90T, 200T Excavators, 14, 16 Graders, Water Carts & Rollers
