Are you a skilled ecologist seeking a challenging role that combines project coordination and fieldwork? As an Ecological Project Coordinator, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality projects that meet our clients' needs.

About the Role

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has strong ecological knowledge and attention to detail. Fieldwork is a crucial aspect of the job (typically a few days at a time), with all hours paid — including travel.

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Can communicate effectively with both clients and team members
  • Take initiative and ownership of their work
  • Are committed to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Have excellent project coordination skills, including client communication, delegation, and timeline management
  • Understanding of ecological legislation and associated reporting/survey requirements
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Botanical or ecological survey skills (fauna experience not essential)
  • GIS proficiency for data processing and map preparation
  • Strong report writing and Microsoft Word/Excel skills
