Job Opportunity: Sleep Study Scorer

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to comprehensive sleep disorder evaluations by scoring raw polysomnographic data and preparing draft reports for sleep physicians.

As a skilled Sleep Study Scorer, you will be responsible for analysing and scoring raw polysomnographic data following AASM guidelines, preparing and proofreading draft sleep study reports, collecting and integrating patient information to meet specific needs, assessing physiological calibrations and making adjustments as necessary, and identifying sleep stages, EEG arousals, respiratory events, limb movements, and oxygen saturation perturbations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis and scoring of raw polysomnographic data
  • Preparation and proofreading of draft sleep study reports
  • Collection and integration of patient information
  • Assessment of physiological calibrations
  • Identification of sleep stages and related events
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in science (advantageous)
  • Experience as an overnight sleep-study assistant (preferred)
  • RPSGT certification or similar
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software
