Clinical Leadership Role for Rural Generalist Dietitian

The Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network seeks a skilled Clinical Senior Dietitian to join their team. This dynamic position plays a key role in delivering exceptional services, leading clinical excellence, and driving improvements in service quality, safety, and community-focused care.
As a senior dietitian, you will have the opportunity to work closely with allied health professionals, managers, and stakeholders to contribute to innovative models of care and workforce development initiatives. Your passion for clinical leadership and creating positive change in healthcare will be essential in making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional services and lead clinical excellence across the region or rural and remote areas of South Australia.
- Drive improvements in service quality, safety, and community-focused care.
- Work closely with allied health professionals, managers, and stakeholders to contribute to innovative models of care and workforce development initiatives.
- Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant Allied Health Profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Allied Health Profession.
- Apply specialist professional expertise (including as a Rural Generalist or within a specific discipline specialty) in the provision of complex clinical and/or consultancy services across FUNLHN and/or within the relevant professional networks.
- Operate with professional independence, clinical competence, and highly developed reflective-practice skills, drawing on professional direction in the application of new or sophisticated techniques.
This role offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of $104,180 - $111,746 p.a., superannuation, leave loading, and salary sacrificing benefits. Additionally, you will have access to relocation and accommodation assistance, professional development opportunities, and links with the Rural Support Service.
