About the Role

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is embarking on a digital transformation journey, aiming to reinvent and redefine its business and customer experiences. As a Digital Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning strategic initiatives with business objectives, defining customer needs, and overseeing the delivery and optimization of digital products and features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver best-in-class digital customer and employee experiences that meet digital-specific targets, benefits, and KPIs.
  • Apply commercial acumen to strategically align digital outcomes with business goals and contribute to the organization's financial success.
  • Define and articulate feature backlog requirements during the concept and initiation phases, aligned with business/customer needs and commercial benefits.
  • Own the execution of squad increment plans, ensuring feature development aligns with overall product goals and meets business objectives.
  • Monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, optimize solutions, and showcase new features.

About You

A successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant business or IT discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of Digital Product Owner and/or customer journey experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an agile environment with high-performing cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated fluency in best-practice customer journey management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Extensive experience with developing and managing stakeholder relationships.
