Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Architect to lead the design, deployment, and governance of a new IAM platform for a leading Australian enterprise. This is a unique opportunity to shape the security landscape of the organisation by developing and implementing a comprehensive IAM strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement an IAM governance framework, establishing principles, policies, and standards that align with the enterprise's cyber security strategy.
  • Oversee the deployment of an IGA solution to support the organization's IAM strategy and roadmap.
  • Lead the design of the IAM architecture, including the development of a centralised identity data model.
  • Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to ensure the IAM strategy aligns with the overall business and technology goals.
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout the program lifecycle, working closely with different teams to develop strategies, roadmaps, and project definitions.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into all aspects of the IAM program.
  • Conduct market research and evaluate IGA solutions for integration.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in IAM architecture and implementation, particularly in IAM and IGA.
  • Strong domain knowledge in IAM governance principles, role-based access management, identity data model standardisation, and trust models.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, CISM, CISSP, or GIAC are highly desirable.
  • Leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
