Custodian of Outdoor Spaces

Job Title: Full Time Gardner
\As a Full Time Gardner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day garden maintenance of facilities. This includes strong understanding and experience in grounds maintenance. Your key tasks include mowing, edging, pruning, planting, mulching, fertilising and reticulation using ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers and other equipment.

- Identify plants and diseases, manage them and understand irrigation services installation and maintenance.\
- Maintain shrub borders through pruning and weeding, herbaceous borders by weeding, staking, pruning and replanting as needed, and mulching.\
- Plant high-grade tender perennial borders and displays, clear leaves and litter pick.\
- Perform basic arboricultural activities, stack woody waste piles and chip waste.\
- Work with the owner to complete weekly, monthly and annual work plans.\
- Implement sound horticultural strategies and techniques including plant cultivation, identification, pruning, weed control, turf management, soil management, irrigation and machinery use and maintenance.\
- Participate in the oversight and development of apprentices, volunteers and interns.\
