Deliver Exceptional Social Experiences
Tingira Hills Care Community is seeking a skilled Social Event Coordinator to enhance the quality of life for residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering social events and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Wellbeing Manager to create a tailored calendar of social events and experiences.
- Work closely with the care team to deliver social activities that promote mental health and well-being.
- Support the orientation and training of volunteers to ensure they are equipped to contribute to social events.
- Liaise with volunteers to attend and/or host social events, fostering positive relationships and a sense of community.
- Contribute to Community Engagement, Social Impact, and Sustainability initiatives and projects, working closely with the Wellbeing Manager and General Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and team members, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in event management (desirable).
- Certificate IV in Community Services (Lifestyle and Leisure) and/or relevant qualification (desirable).
- Previous experience in delivering events and activities, preferably in an aged care setting.
- Previous event coordinator and/or team engagement experience.
