About this role
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our Aggregates operations in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the logistics operations, including financial performance, safety performance, customer management, fleet management, and legislative compliance.
About the opportunity:
- This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a competitive remuneration package.
- You will have autonomous management of the Aggregates logistics operations, with responsibility for financial performance, safety performance, customer management, fleet management, and legislative compliance.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to improve performance and capability.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced logistics management professional with strong experience in logistics and transport management, ideally with a contracted fleet. You will have solid experience managing a blue-collar workforce and strong financial ability.
You will be a team player with a passion for logistics management, and possess solid, practical skills and knowledge in developing operational performance and capability.
You will thrive on balancing the immediate demands of meeting daily operational requirements with the longer-term strategy, and demonstrate integrity, a positive attitude, and strong technical skills.
