Family Support Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Family Support Specialist to join our organization. As an ideal candidate, you will have experience working with families and a passion for making a positive impact on children, people, and young people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work intensively to support a caseload of families in order to prevent children from being removed into care.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop, implement, and review clinical therapeutic treatments and interventions that identify strengths as well as areas of risk.
- Collaborate with families in their home environment to provide targeted support and guidance.
Key Requirements:
- Degree qualifications in social work or a related field.
- Case management experience, specifically in early intervention/family preservation or a child protection-related program.
- Flexibility to see families in a home setting.
- Driver's license.
