Regional Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital as a Regional Pharmacist. This is a Grade 3 position that requires a strong clinical background and excellent interpersonal skills.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmacy services to our health services in Morwell, Leongatha, and Korumburra. This will include medication chart review, clinical advice, and medicine supplies, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients and healthcare teams
• Conduct medication chart reviews and provide recommendations for improvement
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist, without restriction
• Experience as a Grade 2 Hospital Pharmacist across a broad range of areas
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
