Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Pharmacist to join our team at Latrobe Regional Hospital. As a key member of our Pharmacy Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and staff.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing clinical advice and guidance to healthcare staff on medication management and therapy
• Conducting medication chart reviews and audits to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Developing and implementing pharmacy policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and safety
• Providing education and training to staff on pharmacy-related topics

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist, without restriction
• Experience as a Grade 2 Hospital Pharmacist across a broad range of areas, including surgical, medical, rehab, mental health, and oncology
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
