Job Description">

As a Civil Labourer, you will play an integral role within the City Presentation Department's Civil Operations area. Your primary responsibilities will involve undertaking labouring and other duties as directed, which may include working in various areas such as roads, drainage, and concreting.

This position requires a commitment to ongoing training, flexibility, and multiskilling within the department to develop and maintain the required skills and competencies of the position.

The successful candidate will need to be physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.

  • General civil labouring experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to deal in an appropriate manner with the general public
  • Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White) Card
  • Knowledge of and commitment to WHS and EEO principles
