Project Engineer Role Overview

\

We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer with Bulk Earthworks experience to join our delivery team on the Goulburn River Solar Project.

\

This is a site-based position on a major renewable energy construction project with a rostered working arrangement, with accommodation and allowances provided as applicable.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Plan, coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that the project is delivered in accordance with time, budget and quality requirements.
  • Effectively manage and monitor construction performance and progress.
  • Preparation of progress and compliance reporting.
  • Interpret designs for construction implementation and contribute to improvements to existing designs.
  • Coordinate and supervise technical aspects of the project.
  • Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
  • Verification of subcontractors' claims and variations.
  • Effective management of work programs and performance of teams and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes.
  • Execute a working knowledge of contractual and legislation relevant to the project.

About You:

\
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering Qualification.
  • Be a member of, or eligible to be a member of Engineers Australia.
  • Minimum of 5 years engineering experience in the construction industry, and Earthworks.
  • Demonstrated ability in proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities.
  • Ability to review and develop new processes and streamline transactional activities.
  • Interpretation and application of technical / contractual conditions and company policies and procedures.
  • Project planning; organisational and time management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
