Job Description">

We are seeking a seasoned Transport Planning expert to provide strategic direction, mentorship and leadership to our national Transport Planning team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-profile projects, an established network of industry contacts and experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Team leadership, including line management of the national Transport Planning team;
  • Provide technical oversight to Transport Planning projects and workstreams;
  • Act as Project Director or Project Manager on large-scale Transport Planning assignments;
  • Offer technical expertise to support clients in addressing their transport challenges;
  • Lead business development activities, including supporting account management of key client accounts;
  • Oversee Transport Planning bid development;
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the wider Advisory, Planning and Technology Business Unit's strategy and achievement of targets; and
  • Participate in Arcadis global forums relevant to Transport Planning.
Qualifications & Experience">
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline;
  • Membership and/or active involvement with relevant industry bodies (e.g. AITPM);
  • Previous consulting experience with a strong track record of project delivery;
  • Established industry networks;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to direct reports and proposals, lead meetings, prepare and deliver presentations to a high standard;
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary project teams;
  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership;
