Coatings Production Specialist

The coatings production specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality coatings in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Execute the manufacturing of paint, encompassing dispersion and assembly processes.
  • Input production data into a computer or tablet for record-keeping purposes.
  • Prepare raw materials for production use.
  • Set up and operate all filling equipment, including filtration and labeling.
  • Operate various materials handling equipment efficiently to ensure minimal waste.
  • Manage the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
  • Operate a tablet-touch screen-controlled manufacturing system, performing routine batch adjustments as required.
  • Collaborate with quality control personnel to conduct make-up operations and engage in production final testing.
  • Carry out routine fault-finding and preventive maintenance activities on automated filling systems.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • A strong background in automated manufacturing or production would be highly desirable.
  • Possession of a Victorian driver's license is mandatory.
  • Excellent computer skills are required to accurately enter production data.
  • Familiarity with OHS, GMP, and HACCP procedures is necessary to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Knowledge of 5S principles and general housekeeping practices is also essential.
