We are seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our Government & Stakeholder Division at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). As a key member of our Stakeholder Engagement Team, you will play a critical role in engaging with industry, consumer, and community stakeholders to facilitate strong and ongoing collaboration and enable successful energy transformation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality engagement and communications across AEMO stakeholder groups, including maintenance of AEMO's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Support the ongoing development, improvement, and adoption of AEMO's CRM system to support greater stakeholder insights and improved targeting and relationships.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and stakeholder mapping.
- Organise engagement forums and committees, including agendas, minutes, and release of formal documents and web updates.
- Regularly review stakeholder engagement systems, guidelines, policies, procedures, and processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a small to medium-sized organisation and experience in complex infrastructure/service delivery organisations.
- Experience providing digital support in a stakeholder engagement environment.
- Experience developing stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, including production of effective written communications.
- A process improvement mindset, proactively identifying opportunities for new efficiencies.
- A strong passion for building and sustaining positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
