Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Associate Credit Assessment.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers and has strong analytical skills.

  • To complete credit assessments and verifications for home loan applications, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.
  • To deliver first point resolution for customers in line with operating procedures, resolving complex complaints by being an expert in the customer complaints platform.
  • To work closely with the broader lending services teams and wider organization to get the right customer resolution, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by inputting the correct information for the customer in core systems and in line with team operating rhythms.
  • To deliver a superior customer experience by ensuring the customer is kept up to date in the most appropriate channel, proactively managing risk, adhering to process and procedures pertinent to the role; and escalating events, issues or breaches as they are identified to their People Leader with a proposed solution.

  • Delivering high-quality results while working in a fast-paced environment, having strong initiative & problem-solving skills, and possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Continuously learning and developing skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A strong understanding of home lending processes, policies, and regulations, with good knowledge of Home Lending Operational Risk.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
