Job Description

This Brisbane-based role seeks an Associate Engineer with significant engineering design experience, strong communication skills and desire to mentor developing engineers within the group.

The successful candidate will work on various projects in a client-facing capacity, providing structural engineering expertise and ensuring high standards of quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Chartered member (CPEng) of Institute of Engineers Australia
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
  • 10+ years demonstrated experience in structural engineering
  • Strong understanding of Australian design codes and standards
  • Demonstrated experience at a senior level of project design and commercial outcomes for projects
  • Experience in writing tenders and proposals, leading projects and communicating with clients
  • Innovative attitude to solutions and designs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Desire to develop own team and client base
