Wellbeing Specialist Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to join our team as a Wellbeing Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive school community.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement programs that promote student wellbeing, including emotional regulation, resilience, stress management, and self-care.
- Lead lessons that teach students about respect, empathy, and healthy relationships, including consent, conflict resolution, and gender equality.
- Encourage positive student interactions and behaviour, promoting mutual respect, tolerance, and understanding of differences in a diverse society.
- Identify students who may need extra support with emotional wellbeing or relationships and provide interventions, possibly involving counsellors or external resources.
- Demonstrate positive communication, empathy, and respectful relationships in interactions with students, staff, and the wider school community.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- VIT registration or in the process of obtaining it
- Previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia or placement experience
- Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years
- A full-time, ongoing role commencing in Term 1, 2025
