About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Technical Coordinator to join our team at Perth Airport. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our airside activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Airside Safety Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our airside driving safety regime, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Service Standards Reporting: Develop and maintain accurate and timely reports on service standards for our airline partners, utilizing data from our intranet systems.
  • Performance Reporting: Collaborate with the Operations Standards Manager to develop and maintain performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all airside operations are conducted in accordance with relevant CASA and ICAO legislation, as well as PAPL Airside Operations Standards.
  • Risk Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management initiatives for airfield operations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Airside Audits: Conduct regular airside audits to ensure regulatory adherence and identify areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Documentation: Review and manage regulatory documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
About You
  • Experience: Considerable experience in airport operations or other aviation domains, with a strong commitment to safety-first practices.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or comprehensive operational experience in aviation.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Rational problem solver with excellent prioritization and decision-making abilities.
  • Legislation Interpretation: Proven ability to interpret and apply legislation to real-world operational challenges.
  • Process Management: Exceptional process management skills with a track record of delivering results.
  • System Proficiency: Proficient in using systems to design, manage, and optimize operational outcomes.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, especially in compliance.
  • Documentation and Communication: Excellent documentation, computer, and MS Word Suite skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.
