About the Role:
As a Biochar Machine Operator with Prestige Staffing, you will be responsible for maintaining the production of high-quality biochar at our state-of-the-art facility. This involves ensuring the year-round operation of our biochar manufacturing equipment, adhering to strict quality control measures to minimize material waste and maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate biochar and bagging machines to display accurate code, dates, and weight.
- Reset machines in cases of malfunctions, performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Manipulate machine controls to optimize production and minimize waste, adhering to established protocols.
- Attach identification labels to finished products, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory management.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure machines are in proper working condition, reporting any issues or concerns to the production team.
- Record machine settings, temperature, and pressure ratings on machine logs, providing valuable insights for process improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge working with machine operation, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Full driver's license, with a strong ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.
- Victorian Forklift License, with a proven track record of safe and efficient forklift operation.
