About the Role

Prestige Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Biochar Machine Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our biochar manufacturing equipment and supervising machine operators to produce high-quality biochar for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Biochar Production Systems: Ensure the year-round operation of our biochar manufacturing equipment, including high-temperature biochar units, by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Supervise Machine Operators: Lead and motivate a team of machine operators to ensure the highest-quality biochar is produced.
  • Inspect and Diagnose Equipment: Regularly inspect and diagnose equipment issues to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust and Maintain Equipment: Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure a clean and safe work environment by maintaining equipment and supplies.
Key Skills
  • Operational Experience: Minimum three (3) years of relevant operational experience and experience operating high-temperature machinery.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Quality Control: Knowledge of quality control procedures and ability to implement them.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Office and other PC-related applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Safety: 'Duty of care' mindset and commitment to work safety.
  • Mathematical Skills: Comfortability with basic mathematical calculations.
