Procurement Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective business partnerships with stakeholders, managing the development of specifications, market analyses, sourcing strategies, tender evaluations, negotiations, and contractual agreements.

The Procurement Specialist will support the end-to-end procurement process, including procurement policies, compliance, value for money, and delivery of contractual obligations. They will also demonstrate negotiation skills to address stakeholder requirements and provide advice and support to senior procurement personnel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement plans to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies
  • Leading or supporting the sourcing process, developing procurement specifications, and evaluating tenders
  • Facilitating monthly meetings with stakeholders to review procurement spend data and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
