About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Groundwater team at EMM Consulting Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various projects, including budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate projects, including budgets and schedules
  • Lead groundwater projects, liaising with clients, subcontractors, and government departments
  • Navigate through technically interesting projects that require innovative solutions
  • Work autonomously, collaborating with peers in Groundwater and other multidisciplinary teams
  • Continue professional development, working alongside industry leaders
  • Mentor junior team members, ensuring their growth and excellence
Requirements
  • Strong foundation in hydrogeology, with experience in impact assessments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience delivering projects in the mining sector
  • Experience in asset transition or pumped hydro is advantageous
  • Degree in environmental engineering or geoscience, preferably with a focus on geology, hydrogeology, and/or groundwater management
  • Working knowledge of NSW and/or QLD Government groundwater-related legislation is ideal
