The Operations Campus Coordinator is a key role within the Equinix operations team, responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our data center campus. This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily office management functions across all Data Centers within the Melbourne cluster, ensuring compliance with national standards.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside the business.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Manage and track spend across key budget categories within the South Sydney campus under the guidance of the AU Operations Support team.
- Coordinate training activities for local Operations teams across the South Sydney campus.
- Compile and coordinate monthly customer reports within SLAs.
- Collaborate with technical and administrative stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure accuracy of customer reports.
- Provide support on Operations and company-wide events as needed.
- Proactively resolve or escalate issues requiring attention.
- Champion best practice initiatives across the campus to support business strategy.
- Office management responsibilities such as vendor liaison, mail collection, and management of cleaning staff and requirements across the South Sydney campus.
- General office support such as managing supplies and storage areas, catering orders, courier bookings, and coordinating team events on occasion.
- Maintenance of office common areas and equipment.
- Provide relief support to other Operations Campus Coordinators when required.
- Assist with workstation setups for new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the business.
- Greet new joiners and conduct introductions and tours when required.
- Lead and collaborate with green champions across the campus to drive sustainability.
- 3 years in an administration role, with an advanced level of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience in purchase ordering, particularly with the COUPA system.
- Data Centre or IT experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Professionally presented and a team-first mentality.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong business relationships.
- Highly proactive with the ability to work independently or in a dynamic team environment.
- High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work across a range of administrative, project, and support activities.
- Strong customer focus and written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with higher management.
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
