Teaching Position: Science Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced science educator to join our teaching team at St George Christian School.

The ideal candidate will have a well-informed approach to teaching and learning, with the ability to create an engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and development in a Christian community of excellence.

As a science educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that promote powerful learning, where students take ownership of their learning journey, and personal effort, excellence, and achievement are valued and celebrated.

You will work collaboratively as part of our teaching team under the strategic leadership of the Director of Learning and Teaching, with support and oversight provided by the Head of School and Technologies Coordinator.

  • A skilled teacher with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the developmental needs of students and a passion for inspiring them in their faith.
  • Excellent academic qualifications and subject expertise.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate compassionately, humbly, and graciously to students, families, and staff.
