Our clinic is a busy small animal practice in East Melbourne, equipped with the latest technology including digital X-ray and ultrasound machines.
- Reception duties include handling client inquiries, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Animal handling and general nursing duties for hospitalised patients.
- Maintaining excellent hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
- Undertaking general nursing tasks such as anaesthetic monitoring, patient admission and discharge, IV catheter placement and blood collection.
- Assisting veterinarians with various surgeries and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and 1-2 years of experience in the field. You should be passionate about patient and customer care, have excellent animal handling skills, knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures, and exceptional organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
