Job Title: Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming">
  • Prepare meals and snacks for residents">
  • Help residents with mobility issues, including transfers and ambulation">
  • Provide companionship and engage residents in activities">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • ">
  • Cert III in Aged Care (essential)">
  • Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate/CPR (essential)">
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in working with the elderly">
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including sleepovers and short notice changes">
  • High motivation and ability to take initiative in challenging situations">
  • Previous experience working in aged care or retirement communities">
  • Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain">
